Cheap 精

3 am Sat night.

My sleeping habit is weird, I can sleep anytime during the day and stay up all night without feeling tired.

I rented Jan Lam talk show today and it was brilliant. Good work Jan, thanks for the 1 hour entertainment.

I like watching movies and Hong Kong talk show. I like watching Hong Kong talk show cuz the common cultural ground makes it really fun to watch and a lot of the things I can relate to.

Freedom of Choice / Hong Kong

For those who have been visiting my blog regularly, I'm really sorry I didn't update my blog as often as I promised.

I have been quite busy because I just started my new job and I will quite my current job and go for a different job next month.

I really appreciate those who like my videos and my blog. Thank you.

6 pm Sunday. I had a very lazy weekend.

Honestly, I have been writing lots of stuff, but there are always something that stops me from finishing. E.g. my computer reboots itself / something stops me from completing my journals.

I'm eating shanghai rice cake dish 上海抄糕年 at the moment. It was alright. Eatable. I just put green bell pepper and mushroom to go with the rice cake.

A lot of people commented my writing style is too wordy. e.g. a lot of the stuff I said are pretty random and unimportant.

I guess I will try to go straight to the point and stop rambling around :-p

The chief executive election in Hong Kong was finalized this morning. Donald Tsang kinda looked like he wanna cry when he knew he got re-elected.

I don't know whether it's just a political trick, but if that's real. I admire his dedication towards his work.

I also watched an interview with Cheung Zi Yee 章孑怡, she said she's proud of her achievements. She said her success has brought her freedom of choice 9e.g. she doesn't has to do stuff she doesn't want to do) and she would not give that up for anything.

I admire her. She's my role model. I want to be successful like her. (Not in the movie industry though).

Re: Freedom of choice. How many of us really have freedom of choice?

  • e.g. We want to pursue further education but we don't have money so have to enter the work force?
  • We want to live in a nice house but we have to pick a house that we can afford
  • We stick with our current lover cuz we worry we can't find a better one etc etc
I think mainland Chinese are in general more mature than Hong Kong people and they tend to be more articulate.

I was writing my blog in Chinese yesterday cuz I had the urge to scream and yell in Chinese. But I don't know how to input Chinese character so I used the computerize writing pad to write it by hand. And my computer suddenly rebooted itself and I lost everything. And I thought fu8k it, I'm not writing the whole dam* thing again.

I guess pictogram is a factor that impede the civilization of China?

I have a lot more to say, but I guess I better go

Have a nice day!

Financial Senses. Investment.

It's 2:17 am here. I'm up early :-p

I went to bed at 6 pm after I came home from work.

I'm taking several quarters off to earn some cash and I'll head back to college in September.

I'm working as a Supply Teacher and I start work at 7:45 am (but I finish work at 4 pm :-p)

That's very cool. I feel that I have so much more free time to do stuff.

The stock market is not doing well globally, esp Asia and the U.S.

A lot of people have opposing views about the oil reservation on earth, some people said we're running of oil but others say it's just another oil crisis rumors like what happened in the 70's

What are your thoughts?

Good Tea recommendation:

Lipton - chrysanthemum + lotus seed + wolfberry seed. (Absolutely superb!)

I'm teaching in a school in a bad neighbor hood and the kids are doing very badly academically.

They can't do addition and subtraction and there're kids like 15 years old and they're still in grade 6 hanging out with 10 years old kid.

2:43 am now.

I better go

:-) Night everyone.
