The accident had caused sever damage to his brain and had affected most of his motor and cognitive function.
The complications of his injury are: his brain and body will continue to shrink and deteriorate.
He first lived in a hostel for adult with severe learning disabilities. He was then transfered to an elderly hostel.
His dad visited him much more often than his wife.
My thoughts:
- If he has a sound mind, everything that are happening to him are traumatic experiences
- Maybe parent's love are more unconditional than lover's love. For his case, his wife didn't want to live with him anymore and she visited him less often than his dad. For other cases, a lot of parents take care and look after their kids with special needs for their whole life.
- It's a traumatic experience for his dad too because his son goes to elderly home before him.
- After an accident, everything changes instantly.
Another recent news.
A kid was riding a bicycle and got hit by a truck.
Why unlucky / bad things happen to people?
Does any unfortunate events has anything to do with what we did in our previous life?
(maybe reincarnation exists?)
With regards to unfortunate things, the question is: What can you do?
I wish there are no more bad things happen to people. And I wish technology can advance to a stage where whatever happen to us, we'll recover fully, e.g. teeth and limbs will grow back fully.
