One good point about living in Hong Kong is: You can get dim sum from the Tea House so easily.
Prawn dumpling, Pork dumpling, BBQ pork in rice paper, Fried carrot cake.
Yum... ... so tasty.

Careful though, to tasty and compared to say UK very very cheap. Far to easy to put on the pounds. Still trying to get rid off the pounds i picked up during a three week trip in Hong Kong just after CNY. Too many BBQ pork buns, lotus leaf wrapped glutinous rice and dumplings I'm afraid.
That's what I love about HK. The food there is dirt cheap. A bowl of noodles is like $20? that's about...2-3 dollars Canadian! There's no way I can get noodles at that price here.

I went to a tea house in UK before, the dim sum over there tastes the same as the dim sum in HK. (except the price are more expensive there)
I've been to China Town in San Fransico before. It looks very mainland china orientated.
The China Town in UK is more Hong Kong oriented.
E.g the menu in UK was written in Big 5 (traditional chinese), but the menu in SF China town was written in simplied chinese.

new york chinatown is mostly traditional chinese, well the manhatten chinatown anyways, flushing we have more taiwanese people there so mandarin is more common there. theres other chinatowns in ny i dont really go to tho
NY seems like a very nice / convenient place from what I see from the movies / tv series (Sex and the city? spiderman?)
Quite want to go there somedays.
