God please give me strength so I can concentrate on my studies.
God please give me pressure so I have the motivation to study harder.
I'm scared I won't even pass semester 1. It's gonna look so bad cuz I made such a big deal about going to study in America.
Everyone I know knows that I'm quitting my job and spending a lot of $ going there to study

Hi. I admire that you quit your job in HK and continuing your education in the US. Your English is not bad so I'm assuming that you must have studied overseas before. I'm sure you will do well. God will always be there for you! Cheers!

Here's a short quote I got from the movie "Evan Almighty". Just wanted to share this with you.
This was the scene where "GOD" speaks with "Evan's Wife" after Evan was building an ARC. And she was puzzled about her husband's work at that time.
“Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?”
